Equipment

  • Small mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Whisk or spoon
  • Airtight container or small mason jar
  • Sharpie (for labeling)

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Ground ginger
  • 1 ½ tsp Ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Ground cloves
  • 1 tsp Ground allspice

Instructions

  • Combine spices: In a small mixing bowl, add ground cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice.
  • Mix thoroughly: Whisk or stir until everything is evenly blended with no clumps remaining.
  • Store for later use: Transfer your homemade pumpkin pie spice to an airtight container, such as a small mason jar. Label the lid clearly so you don’t mix it up with other spice blends.

Notes

  • Versatile uses: This blend is perfect in pumpkin pie, muffins, breads, oatmeal, lattes, and more!
  • Double or triple the batch: If you bake often in the fall, consider making a larger batch to get you through the season.
  • Label clearly: Many spice blends look similar once stored — trust us, labeling is key!
