Hello Friends! Autumn has made itself known around here and I’m feeling like we need some pumpkin pie for dessert tonight. I don’t keep store bought pumpkin pie spice on hand but I do have all the components for a delicious blend I have been using for years.

So, I have another pantry staple recipe for you today- Pumpkin Pie Spice. This spice is a perfect addition to your favorite pumpkin baked good or a delicious mug of homemade pumpkin spice latte.

You can find a downloadable recipe at the bottom of the blog 😊

Pumpkin Pie Spice Ingredients:

Spices needed to make pumpkin pie spice

3 tablespoons ground cinnamon

2 teaspoons ground ginger

1 ½ teaspoons ground nutmeg

1 teaspoon ground cloves

1 teaspoon ground allspice

Directions:

Spices in a white bowl

In a small mixing bowl, whisk all ingredients together until throughly combined.

Store the spice in an airtight container. I store mine in a little mason jar and make sure to label the lid with a black sharpie.

Homemade spice blends look really similar when stored in unmarked mason jars. I know from experience 😉
