Hello Friends!
We’ve been planning our Christmas morning brunch here at ASW Homestead and wanted to share our menu with you. These are tried-and-true recipes that are high in protein, frugal, and most importantly—can be prepped ahead of time so we can spend more of the morning together instead of in the kitchen.
Each recipe below includes a downloadable card so you can make your own brunch planning easier. Whether you use just one idea or borrow the whole spread, we hope it adds a little joy to your Christmas morning!
This pantry staple is always on hand in our home during the winter months—and Christmas morning is no exception!
The mix can be prepared well in advance and stored in a jar, ready to scoop into mugs throughout the season. It’s a warm, cozy drink that pairs perfectly with whipped cream or marshmallows.
These protein-packed bites are ideal for hungry kids (and grown-ups!) after gifts are unwrapped.
Mix and roll the balls on Christmas Eve, store them in the fridge, and bake them fresh on Christmas morning. They’re savory, cheesy, and satisfying.
A regular in our Tuesday night breakfast tradition, this recipe also shines on special mornings like Christmas.
Prep it the night before and pop it in the oven alongside the sausage balls. It’s hearty, flexible, and perfect with whatever veggies or cheese you have on hand.
We like to make this moist, buttery cake the day before Christmas. On Christmas morning, we serve it with rich chocolate icing—or fresh berries and whipped cream for a lighter option. It also pairs wonderfully with coffee or cocoa.
Our Christmas brunch is designed to be low-stress and filling, with enough variety to keep everyone happy until the big dinner later in the day. Best of all, these recipes can be made with ingredients you likely already have on hand.
We hope this brunch menu inspires your own holiday plans and helps make your Christmas morning a little more peaceful.
