Hello friends! This past weekend was the last Saturday in October and we couldn’t let it slip by without burning something 😉 We spent the evening around the campfire enjoying the crackling of the dancing flames and eating homemade apple crisp.
It has been a sad weekend around here with some big changes headed our way. And, fires have a way of quieting the noise and calming the nerves.
A little after dark we had a visitor which the boys enjoyed following around until she scooted under the fence.
It’s an awful picture but if you can’t tell it’s an armadillo. We have several that frequent our homestead and leave behind holes from where they dug up some bugs.
